TRAUMA and DISSOCIATION THERAPY

Trauma creates change you don’t choose. Healing creates change you do choose.
- Michelle Rosenthal

Emotional Trauma

I provide a safe, nurturing space to explore and resolve old hurts and traumatic memories. I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when working with a wide range of traumatic experiences. I have a humanistic approach and use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems to understand the roles of personality parts we all have.

I especially love working with clients who are ready for change in their lives. In addition to trauma work, I have experience working with women's issues, grief, anxiety, LGBTQ support, life transition adjustment issues, and dissociative disorders.

On the individual level, people are opening up more and more every day to their hearts, connecting with others, wanting to be kind, and desiring to uncover their own potential and gifts. I see my role in this process as one where I can help clients become self-aware and realize the origins of their emotional wounds in order to heal and release them and shift onto a timeline where they are moving toward their own evolution, a better and better version of themselves and their life. There are moments in our lives when shifts occur and we literally switch to a different path. That moment of shift is what I love to facilitate.
